ContactGlobal GLF293 Eco LED Floodlight
Global GLF293 Eco LED Floodlight 100W – White Light. LED floodlights are fixtures considered for illuminating a specific area from outside or around it. Light direction is particularly important in applications such as facades, gardens or work areas. For large-area lighting, choose products in relation to the area's dimensions and intended use. Mounting height, light direction and surrounding surfaces affect the installation result. Do not use the power rating alone as a measure of suitability. Reviewing the stated lighting specifications and mounting information, and assessing the required lighting arrangement across the entire area, allows a more meaningful comparison.
GLF293 model highlights: Light colour: White (6500K). Power: 100W. Luminous flux: 7000 lm. Voltage: 220-240V. Stated operating life: 20000 hours. Made in Türkiye
Floodlight direction and placement
When identifying the surface the floodlight will illuminate, also consider the sightlines of people facing it. Include both the fixing surface and the body's aiming capability in the placement decision. Determine the width and height of the area to be illuminated and the activities carried out there. Plan product positions according to the surfaces the light needs to reach as well as the locations where mounting is possible. Shelving, structural elements and other obstacles can affect light distribution. When replacing existing lighting, do not assume that the previous arrangement also suits the new product. Assess the number of fixtures and their placement in relation to the project's requirements.
Assessing the needs of the area
A narrow passage and a large open area do not require the same lighting arrangement. When choosing a floodlight, compare its stated lighting characteristics, mounting location and intended coverage area. Review the stated power, luminous flux and any light distribution information together. Two products with the same power rating may produce different results in different areas. Mounting position, operating environment and electrical connection must suit the model's specifications. Environmental suitability becomes particularly important in areas exposed to the outdoors or with changing operating conditions. Maintenance access and connection arrangements should also be considered when preparing the installation.
